Poll – Your Listening Choices

Our Wish List is filled with books written prior to 2000. These romances definitely have a different feel to me, so much so, that I can often determine the decade of a book’s original publication date simply by reading it.

Today’s poll is the start of a larger conversation. We are focusing on trends in romance writing by looking at three specific decades – the 1980s, the 1990s, and 2000 – 2010. Once we have the results of this poll, we’ll blend your choices into a discussion on romance listeners’ desire for the new versus the old (defined as 1980s). Do you tend towards the latest releases when choosing your next audiobook? Do you seriously consider those older titles (possibly 20 years or older) as well?
