Why I Listen to Romance Audio

From our Why I Listen to Romance Audiobooks Contest:

I listen because I am a multi-tasking maven. Audiobooks let me indulge in my romance novel addiction AND:

1. Exercise: Miles upon miles have been walked, jogged, and strolled while listening to audiobooks. My memories of various trails colored by scenes from the books I listened to as I walked them.

2.Do Chores: Sweeping, mopping, laundry…it all goes by faster and doesn’t seem so bad when my ears are filled with a love story.

3. Paint: I painted every room in my house…myself. And I did most of it while listening to audiobooks. From the china blue hallway to the sage dining room – each room is colored with the romances I listened to while I painted them!

4. Nurse: Yep – you read that right. I almost looked forward to those long hours in the night when the baby woke for a feeding, because my audiobook was cued up and ready to go. I would curl up in a big comfy chair, headphones on, baby at my breast on her Boppy, and get lost in a story. I look back on that time as an almost magical experience.
