From our Why I Listen to Romance Audiobooks Contest:
Why I do listen? Because whether it is paranormal romance or fantasy, when I push play I am drawn into their world completely. The excitement of the first glance to the heat of the first kiss and while these are the worlds writers create, a skilled narrator like Xe Sands or Tavia Gilbert can bring it to life in a way that reading it cannot.
I love drowning myself in the characters and losing myself in the reader’s voice. It’s a personal experience when a listener gives in completely to the reader and a lot times for me, I am awestruck by the closeness you can feel to a reader while listening to an audiobook. It is a magical connection that I willing give into time and time again.
