I often listen to books I have already read and enjoyed. I find that knowing the plot ahead of time doesn’t detract from my listening experience; rather, it allows me to focus on the reason I listen–in the hands of a talented narrator, the book becomes more vibrant and I discover nuances to the characters that I may not have noticed before.
