Today we have a different sort of interview. At the Plaza Hotel, FBI agents Nicholas Drummond, Mike Caine, Dillon Savich and Lacey Sherlock, main characters from The Lost Key, are being interviewed.
The Lost Key is Book 2 in the A Brit in the FBI series by Catherine Coulter and J.T. Ellison. For those familiar with Catherine Coulter’s FBI Thriller series, you’ll recognize Dillon and Lacey.
But since we’re audio fans first around here, I think it’s safe to say that the narrators who perform this interview will really catch your attention – Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews! That’s enough to make me want to give the series a try.
The Lost Key releases today simultaneously in print and audio formats.
Enjoy!
Lea
How awesome is this interview! Good job AudioGals for making a wonderfully unique post!
I was going to read this but now I think I’ll download it. Hearing that British accent aloud just gave me shivers. Heading to Downpour.com right now. :D
Thanks Diana! I thought it was pretty cool. :)
Renee Raudman and MacLeod Andrews? Nice casting! This is going to be my next Audible credit! Can’t wait…
I’m wondering if I should become more familiar with the FBI Thriller books before jumping into this series. Anyone know?
I’ve read the first few FBI books but haven’t picked up any in the last few years and I had no problem with starting this series. The first few books of the FBI thrillers series set up and then introduce Savich and Sherlock, but most of the ones after The Target focus on different leads with appearances by S&S.
I think you could probably start withThe Final Cut and be fine without reading the earlier ones.
I don’t think so, but you might want to read The Maze. I couldn’t listen to it because it was too creepy, but it is a good thriller to read in print. Blindside is a terrific audio….I can’t say enough about how much I enjoyed that story. IIRC Sandra Burr is the narrator.
I wish Renee Raudman and Macleod Andrews would re-record those crazy, but fantastic early FBI like The Cove (insane, but I loved it!), The Maze and my favorite Blindside. These books are cracktastic.
I will definitely download this from Audible. I read and liked Final Cut, so I may have to get it too..
What are your faves that Raudman/Andrews have narrated in the FBI series?
I’ve only listened to Knock Out and Whiplash that Renee read with Paul Costanza. They were a good pairing as narrators. As the FBI series goes on I’m not loving it so much. For many reasons, but mostly because Sherlock is always getting shot, drugged, maimed or tortured. It becomes tedious. Renee’s my favorite American narrator and she brings life to any book she reads so I will keep listening, but through my public library as opposed to Audible.
I did download The Lost Key and The Final Cut after reading/listening to yesterday’s post. Love the pairing of Renee Raudman and Macleod Andrews. He’s marvelous!
