What are the Gals looking forward to in February? Here are the audiobooks we think are likely to provide us with a great listen this month; some chosen because we like the author, some because the narrator’s name makes it a “must listen” and some because we just like the look of them!
Once Upon a Marquess by Courtney Milan
Narrated by Rosalyn Landor
More from Courtney Milan and Rosalyn Landor? It’s like Christmas all over again! Ms Landor’s work in this author’s Brothers Sinister series was utterly sublime and I’m so glad they’re teaming up again for the Worth Saga. Hours of listening heaven guaranteed :) – Caz
I’m so excited for a new Milan/Landor title. These two are one of those perfect pairings of author and narrator. – Shannon
The Shadow by Sylvain Reynard
Narrated by John Michael Morgan
Both the writing and narration The Raven, (Book 1 in this paranormal series) with its dark underworld and gothic and art history influences were superb and unique! Now I can’t wait to continue the Vampire Prince of Florentine’s and Raven’s story in The Shadow! – BJ
This author and narrator took me pleasantly by surprise last year. Vampires in Florence? Who would have guessed I’d enjoy that! ;) Morgan’s narration was totally worth the price of the audiobook. He has a nice deep register that can make my heart pound in terror…and delight! I’m expecting nothing less from the second in the series.- Diana
The Hunter by Kerrigan Byrne
Narrated by Derek Perkins
Ms Byrne’s previous book, The Highwayman was a deliciously angsty and sexy story set in Victorian Britain with a darkly damaged and brooding hero (aren’t they the best kind?!) and The Hunter looks to be more of the same. Derek Perkins is a narrator I enjoy listening to and I’m sure he’ll do a great job. – Caz
Bitter Bite by Jennifer Estep
Narrated by Lauren Fortgang
Urban fantasy lovers have a new title to look forward to in February with a new release in one of the favorite long-running series: Bitter Bite, Book 14 in the Elemental Assassins series. – BJ
Pack: A Paranormal Romance Novelette by Jeaniene Frost
Narrated by Tavia Gilbert
While I’m not the biggest fan of novellas and other short stories, one of my all-time favorite author/narrator team is releasing a shifter paranormal nosvelette in February, and I can’t wait to listen! – BJ
She Tempts the Duke by Lorraine Heath
Narrated by Faye Adele
I’ve become a big Lorraine Heath fan over the past couple of years, but haven’t yet got around to reading the Lost Lords of Pembroke series. For some reason, books 2 and 3 in this series have been available for some time, and at last the first book joins them, so I have a new series to look forward to :) I’m not familiar with Faye Adele’s work, but fingers crossed! – Caz
Major Misconduct by Kelly Jamieson
Narrated by Kasha Kensington
Sports romance has become one of my favourite contemporary subgenres so I’m looking forward to trying this one. – Kaetrin
Beautiful Boss by Christina Lauren
Narrated by Grace Grant and Sebastian York
In this book, we get a chance to catch up with Will and Hanna and I can’t wait. And with the fabulous Sebastian York co-narrating, its bound to be an excellent time.- Diana
Wicked Sexy Liar by Christina Lauren
Narrated by Deacon Lee and Olivia Song
Another Lauren title for me to enjoy this month! I’m not as fond of this series as I am her others but her writing makes me laugh which is why I keep coming back.- Diana
Her Wicked Proposal by Lauren Smith
Narrated by Heather Wilds
I’ve heard a lot of good things about this series as a whole, and this third entry in particular. Narrator Heather Wilds does a great job with British historicals, so I’m really looking forward to getting lost in this book. – Shannon
Fully Ignited by Shannon Stacey
Narrated by Tatiana Sokolov – I enjoy both the author and the narrator so I’m sure I’m on a winner with this audiobook. – Kaetrin
Driven by Fire by Anne Stuart
Narrated by Jill Redfield
No one does romantic suspense like Anne Stuart. Pair that with the skilled narration of Jill Redfield and you’re pretty much guaranteed a great listen. – Shannon
He Will Be My Ruin by K.A. Tucker
Narrated by Kate Rudd and Olivia Song
Having been a lover of K.A. Tucker’s engaging, creative romantic suspense writing, I’m highly anticipating her cross-over novel to the thriller genre. Sounding like a classic whodunnit murder mystery, I can’t wait to dust-off my sleuthing skills while taking a journey through Ms. Tucker’s latest creation. – BJ
Tell us in the comments what YOU’RE looking forward to this month!

I have gotten hooked on Georgette Heyer’s audiobooks. Oh my gosh! I loved the written word…now the audio is a whole other dimension!
Good for you, Pam! There are some fabulous GH audios out there; the newer ones from Naxos are all really good and I think we’ve reviewed most of them here. My favourites are Venetia narrated by Phyllida Nash, Arabella (also narrated by Ms Nash) and even though The Corinthian isn’t one of my favourite of her books, Georgina Sutton does a fantastic job with the narration. Julian Rhind-Tutt is also excellent in The Black Moth.
I adored Daniel Philpott in The Unknown Ajax – if you haven’t heard that yet, it’s a must!
