All of my recs contain some heavy topics and violence so they’re not comfort listens in the sense of sinking into a soft cloud – but as a distraction from the real world and with a guaranteed HEA, these are my go-tos.
The Mercy Thompson series by Patricia Briggs

I started re-reading the Mercy Thompson series this week after finishing the most recent instalment, Smoke Bitten. I have some time before my next non-audio review book is due and I felt like a comfort read – plus, I really wanted to read them all at once to remind myself of the world building, which after twelve books is very dense indeed. There are some interesting call backs to Moon Called in Smoke Bitten actually.
