Another week flown by; here’s hoping you’ve had some entertaining listens to accompany you along the way!
Here’s what the Gals have been listening to this week.

After listening to the first two books in the series, I’m now listening to Enlightened by Joanna Chambers and narrated by Hamish McKinlay. It’s lovely, although it’s a little stressful (for me) with all the family angst. I don’ think the rest of the series is on audio, but I may read it in print. the writing and sense of time and place is amazing.
I bought Learning Curve by Kaje Harper, narrated by JF Harding. I’ve been looking forward to this for a while now, so it will be my next listen. After that it will probably be The Christmas Leap.
Carrie G: the other books in the Enlightenment series are well worth the eyeball-read. Also there are 2 shorts available for free on her website. https://joannachambers.com/series/enlightenment-series-2/
If you enjoyed the audiobooks (I loved them) you might enjoy her Capital Wolf duology, it’s the same narrator. Historical feeling m/m romance with werewolves.
Thank you for the link to the shorts. I have really enjoyed this series so thank you for the encouragement to continue. The Capital Wolf duology audios are available from Hoopla, so I’ll definitely listen to those! I love Hamish McKinlay’s narrations.
I reviewed the ebook versions of Edinburgh Wolves at AAR – I really liked both books. We’ve reviewed the audiobooks here, too. I’d definitely recommend them.
Learning Curve is next up for me – I just started a re-listen of L.J. Hayward’s Where Death Meets the Devil in preparation for the release of the next books in the series on 26th Nov.
