Time for our regular monthly look at the new and upcoming audiobooks we’re looking forward to listening to over the coming weeks. As usual, we’ve chosen a mix of genres, authors and narrators, some familiar, some not, and hope that maybe you’ll find something here to pique your interest.
We always love hearing about what new releases you’re looking forward to as well, so please do drop us a line in the comments.
The Way Back To You by James Bailey
Narrated by Justin Edwards
Saw this at Audible and was intrigued enough to give it a go. – Kaetrin
(Note: this title doesn’t appear to have a US release date yet.)
Trouble With the Cursed by Kim Harrison
Narrated by Marguerite Gavin
I have to admit that I have fallen behind in the Hollows series, but I thoroughly enjoyed the first handful of stories and greatly enjoyed both the PNR/UF storyline and narration. – BJ
A Caribbean Heiress in Paris by Adriana Herrera
Narrated by Nneka Okoye
I’m always looking for a fresh spin on romance and historical fiction is one of my favorite romance sub-genres. This story of a Spanish speaking heroine who travels from Santo Domingo to expand her family’s rum business in Paris and encounters a titled Scottish hero looking to expand his Whiskey business sounds too unique to pass up. – BJ
Everything for You by Chloe Liese
Narrated by Tim Paige
Here for everything Bergman brothers. – Kaetrin
Dead Draw by Layla Reyne
Narrated by Christian Leatherman
This is the first in a new romantic suspense series featuring two FBI agents who get married in order to keep tabs on a terrorist/trafficking operation. I read an ARC and enjoyed the fast-paced mix of action and steam, so I’m going to give it a try in audio. Narrator Christian Leatherman is new to me, but the samples sound good so fingers crossed! – Caz
Famous in a Small Town by Kylie Scott
Narrated by Andi Arndt
Being a fan of the Stage Dive series, I was excited to see that Kylie Scott and Andi Arndt recently released a new rock star romance! – BJ
The Perfect Crimes of Marian Hayes by Cat Sebastian
Narrated by Joel Leslie
I have been curious about what became of Marian since the end of The Queer Principles of Kit Webb. I must know! – Kaetrin
A Mage’s Guide to Human Familiars by AJ Sherwood
Narrated by Tim Paige, Michael Ferraiuolo & Greg Boudreaux
I read this one a few months ago and enjoyed it very much. It’s an MMM fantasy story with lots of humour. – Kaetrin
The Prince’s Poisoned Vow by Hailey Turner
Narrated by Gary Furlong
This is the first book in what promises to be an epic steampunk/fantasy trilogy set on a poisoned planet. Gary Furlong – who did such outstanding work on the author’s Soulbound series – is back at the microphone for this new series. – Caz
Unforgiven by Rebecca Zanetti
Narrated by Roger Wayne
I’ve enjoyed this romantic suspense series featuring a rag-tag band of FBI agents. Roger Wayne’s narration has been excellent throughout and I’m looking forward to this latest instalment. – Caz
